Ceviche with Green Habanero Sauce

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Preparation time: 20 minutes

  • 750 grams of white fish cut into pieces
  • 1 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of capers
  • 1/2 minced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons of green olives, pitted
  • 2 cucumbers with peel and no seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of green olives, pitted

  • 2 tablespoons of El Yucateco Green Habanero Sauce
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of chopped coriander
  • 1/4 cup of olive¬†oil
  • Tortilla chips or crackers

Directions

  1. Combine fish and lemon juice into a bowl and set aside for 15 minutes, then strain the fish to remove the lemon juice.
  2. Add capers, red onion, El Yucateco green sauce, olives, cucumbers, sauce, garlic, and coriander. Stir together and incorporate the remaining lemon juice with the olive oil.
  3. Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
